Blessed
Events grew out of a realization that non-profit organizations
often struggle to produce effective, successful, and profitable
events. Sometimes, their events are successful, but at the
cost of burning out volunteers and/or staff members in the
process.
Putting
over 30 years of experience in the hospitality industry
in Canada at the service of these organizations was an answer
to a 'call'; the result is a 'business ministry' that provides
professional meeting and event management at an affordable
price.
Heidi
Wilker holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the School of Hospitality
and Tourism Management (formerly HAFA) at the University
of Guelph, and the designation of Certified Meeting Professional.
She has worked in various positions at hotels in the Toronto
area, resorts in Ontario and at the Metro Toronto Convention
& Visitors Association (now Tourism Toronto).
She
is an active member of the Canadian Society of Professional
